Workshop on Cognition and the Web - Granada 24-26 April 2008

Wellcome to the Workshop on Cognition and the Web 2008!

This website presents details of the workshop on Cognition and the Web to be held in Granada (Spain) between 24th and 26th April 2008. Mainly, the focus of interest is the role of the human cognitive system in information processing, comprehension and learning with hypertext and hypermedia.

Usability and accessibility of information are main topics in Web design that requires the application of methodologies and theories grounded in cognitive science to be applied in a multidisciplinary context. Knowledge about perception, attention, memory and comprehension processes is necessary to develop user models that could be used to enhance Web use.
