Workshop Venue
The conference will be held at El Carmen de la Victoria, the guesthouse of the Universidad de
Granada, in the Albaycín, the old, Arab part of Granada. The Carmen de la Victoria is a 15th
century villa, with an extended garden, situated at the Cuesta del Chapiz 9, near the Paseo de
los Tristes, with a splendid view on the Alhambra.
Within the Carmen de la Victoria, the talks and lectures will be given in the Salón de Actos
(capacity of 70 persons) or Sala de Juntas (capacity of 20 persons). Besides the gardens and
the Salón de Actos, the Carmen de la Victoria has numerous small, quite rooms, corners and
terraces, ideal for discussions and work sessions.
